Do You Believe This?

July 12, 2020 • Pastor Dan Collins

Last sermon we looked at Martha's question to Jesus, "Lord, don't you care?"

Jesus addressed worry as a symptom and rest that leads to worship.

This week we come to part two of the story with Jesus and Martha.

Jesus gets right at the heart with a single question "Do you believe this?"

We see Jesus as human and divine, filled with love and life-giving power.

We also see Jesus break down and weep. Pretty significant.

Read John 11:17-37 for this sermon.

Saul, known now by many as Paul, was asked by Jesus as to why he was 'persecuting him?' This question deserves our attention as it brings to the forefront the unique union between Christ and his people, the church. Please read Acts 9:3-5 for this message
