What Would You Do?

David was in a moment of desperation when everything he knew and loved was taken from him. And what did he do? He strengthened himself in the Lord by remembering he serves a Personal God, by remembering his God's Promises to him to love him and be faithful to him, and he got in God's Presence! Don't Be Scared

Forgiveness

It's the thing WE need the most. It's what we GET from God. But at the same time, it's what God asks every one of his followers not only receive, but give as well. This is a hard one, church, but we are called to forgiveness. FORGIVEN PEOPLE FORGIVE PEOPLE.
Actin' A Fool

Even David makes some foolish decisions! This time, God sent an incredible woman named Abigail to talk some sense into him before he did something really foolish. Are you living a life of a fool? Or maybe just making some really foolish decisions? Either way, we have someone who have stepped in on our behalf and taken our foolishness to the cross so we don't have to live that life! God is faithful even in our foolishness!
Waiting Works

Two Lies and a Truth

Are you believing all the lies, or are you believing in the Truth? In the Bible the Truth isn't a WHAT...the Truth is a WHO. Jesus IS the Truth, not facts about him, but HIM. Let's learn to say "NO MORE!" to the lies that we are told daily and believe in the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that leads us to salvation!
Desperation

In our most DESPERATE times we can still see God's Provision, we are sustained by his Providence, and we are guided by Prophecy in his Word, to help us remember that he is never far away from us! And in those times, like David, we must continue to Praise His name!
All or Nothing

In this section of 1 Samuel we see Jonathan surrendering his ALL to David and saying "Whatever you say, I will do for you." Have you surrendered your ALL to Jesus? Saying, "Jesus, I surrender everything to you. It's ALL or Nothing. Whatever you say, I will do for you." And, are you continuing to surrender to Jesus, the True King, daily?
The Hard Parts

In this world we will have Triumphs, much like David had. But, we are also promised to have Troubles. If we only see the Bible for the good, nice, easy parts, we are missing the entire story, because there are Hard Parts to the Christian life as well. But, take heart, Jesus has overcome the world and all it's troubles!
Envy

Jesus LOVES seeing people get what they don't deserve! As David becomes more popular with the people and God continues to bless him, Saul's envy begins to breed a lot more sin in his life! Does the sin in your life have a root of envy? Understanding GRACE is how we uproot ENVY.
