The Beatitudes

Peacemaking God's Way

February 19, 2023 • Pastor Keith Grimm • Matthew 5:9

During the Epiphany season we will be studying our Savior's Beatitudes in Matthew 5:1-12. Jesus began his "Sermon on the Mount" with words that seem contradictory. But God's way of living usually goes against the grain of the world. Living for God means being ready to say and do what seems counter-cultural. We give what others take; love when others hate; and help when others overlook. In the end, not only will Jesus reconstruct our heart, He will also fill us with the blessings of being His disciple.
