According to the Book of Acts, Chapter 1, verse 3, Jesus stayed around for 40 days after His resurrection. But He didn't just lay around...He built upon the work He had done in the lives of the Apostles for 3 1/2 years prior. Verse 3 say's; "...to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them for forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God."
