When Racism Meets Pentecost

May 31, 2020 • Pastor Joe Coudriet

This day in America, this Sunday is like no other Sunday in a long time. Injustice, the unjustified murder of a non-violent crime suspect, riots in the streets...if ever there was a time for God's people to stand up and be counted, it is now. At the root of it all is racism, something our country has never really come to grips with and its results have been pain, poverty and despair for many. What is the answer? And what is the answer for the body of Christ? What was Pentecost all about anyways? Was it a glorious moment in time or was it the 'spark' that would give us the power to face anything that might come our way so that we can share the love of Christ that needs that love so badly?
