How To Trust Like Job
September 29, 2019 • Pastor Larry Dugger
More often than not the devil is talking to you about God, not about your actions. He is constantly trying to place doubt and questions in your mind about who God is and whether or not he is truly good and faithful. Likewise, God is talking to the devil about you. In Job, we see a man who suffers much. We tend to say that God unleashed the devil on Job, but if we look more closely we might see that God released Job on the devil. Take time to listen to this message to get a new view on how to fight like Job.
How To Rise Like Jesus
September 22, 2019 • Pastor Larry Dugger
As life happens there will be times that you will feel nailed against the wall. Sometimes we find ourselves in this position due to our own choices and sometimes it’s due to the choices of others. Jesus endured mockery, torture, slander, and death on the cross but he was able to rise. If he can rise from that then we have the power to rise over the things that have been holding us back as well. For more on how to Rise Like Jesus listen to this week’s message by Pastor Larry Dugger.
How To Connect Like The Disciples
September 15, 2019 • Pastor Larry Dugger
Your fruitfulness can never exceed your rootfulness. Everyone has difficult days and seasons of life that are hard and seems as though will never change. However, God gave us the gift of the church for those very seasons. So we have a community surrounding us in good seasons to celebrate with and in hard seasons to encourage us. If you just don’t believe in the church anymore or if you are looking for people who will be in your corner, take a listen to this message.
How To Steward Like The Good Samaritan
September 8, 2019 • Pastor Larry Dugger
Today we took a fresh look at the story of the Good Samaritan. We found that as you dissect the story you will find that he must have been a good steward to be in the position that he was in to help the man in need. We also took time to walk through the Parable of the Talents. We have all been given a measure from God to manage on this earth. Pastor Larry wanted us to put the lesson of stewardship to practice over the next month. Just as the master in the parable gave each servant an equal amount to invest, Family Church did the same. Each person was given $20 to invest and grow over the next month. On October 6th we will bring back the spoils of the investments that were made with this seed.
How To Fight Like David
September 1, 2019 • Pastor Larry Dugger
Fight like David. David faced multiple battles in his lifetime, personal and as a king, but his best tactic for winning was to show up. The enemy's best tool in his arsenal is to get you to quit before you even begin. If he can keep you from showing up to the fight then he automatically wins and you automatically lose. David may not have navigated each battle correctly but he was a fighter at heart. In this message you will hear 3 ways to fight like David and come out victorious on the other side of the giant you are facing.
Forgive Like Stephen
August 25, 2019 • Pastor Larry Dugger
No matter how often we hear a teaching on forgiveness we need to hear it. There is always more that we can learn, more revelation that we can gain as to whether or not we have forgiven or will choose to forgive in the future. Forgiveness is not a choice that you make once and it’s done. Forgiveness is a choice that you keep making every day of your life. Pastor Larry gives us 3 areas to examine so we can walk out forgiveness and be a champion like Stephen.
