We live in the world of contracts. Athletes and coaches earn millions of dollars a year, even if they aren't producing, because of their contract which clearly states, "You owe me and so I will get what is rightfully mine." Sadly, many approach their relationship with God the same way. We are in a contract with God, however, God owes us absolutely nothing.
