Welcome to our Good Friday Tenebrae worship! The term “Tenebrae” is Latin for “darkness.” As we experience the growing darkness, we will imagine what His friends and family might have felt, what they would have said, if given the chance to hold a funeral for Jesus. Through a reenactment of some of the traditional elements of a first-century Jewish funeral, we will “remember” who Jesus was, why He had to die, and what part each of us ultimately played in His death and burial. Tonight we experience 'A Funeral for Jesus'.
