Happy Mother’s Day to all our moms, grandmothers, great grandmothers, and all those wonderful mom-like influencers who move us to say, “Thank you!” this day. May this be a blessed day for you! During our worship, Pastor John will close out our 3-week series titled Who Cares? asking some simple questions of reflection: Can you say with confidence that you have people you could call on to “carry your stretcher” when you are down? Are there people who would call on you when they are down?

God cares. The fact that the Father in heaven would send His son to experience life on this earth as a human being, eventually be placed on the cross to suffer and die for humanity’s sins, and then to rise as King and Lord over sin, death, and the devil, is proof of God’s care and love for each of us. God cares, and He has called His followers (disciples) to carry out a ministry and mission of loving care. What does that look like? May the Holy Spirit allow us to discover that truth today.
