What are you looking and longing for this Christmas? This is a season with lots of expectations, lots of longings, and lots of needs. Have you ever stopped to consider how many people in the Christmas story were looking for something?

Luke 2:34-35

“This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.”

Isaiah 53:5

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed.

Romans 5:10

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life.
