The Gospel has the power to transform your life, but is this transformation only meant for you? Did you know that the change the Gospel makes in you has the power to transform the world around you? Join us this week as we dig into the impact the Gospel in you can make in the world around you.
Romans 10:14-17
14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the Gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
For Adult Homes & Groups
1. Do you count it a privilege to be part of the way that God saves people? How does that motivate you to “preach”?
2. How could you have “beautiful feet,” sharing good news today?
3. What is your biggest fear or hesitation to sharing the Gospel in the everyday spaces God has you?
4. Reread Romans 10:11-17. Where do you feel God is calling you to share the Gospel this week?
For Families with Kids
1. Read Romans 10 together.
2. In verse 17, what does it say faith comes from?
3. Look up Matthew 11:15, Mark 4:9, Luke 8:8, Luke 14:35. What does Jesus say over and over again? “He who has _ _ _ _ to _ _ _ _, let him _ _ _ _.”
3. From verse 17 again, if faith comes from hearing, what is it we need to hear?
the _ _ _ _ of _ _ _ _ _ _.
4. For the month of August, pick a book of the Bible to read together each day and finish by the end of the month; God’s Word strengthens faith! Make it a goal and stick to it asking God to help your family do so.
