FAITH Worship (3/31/24): "The Empty Room" (Series: Miracles)

March 31, 2024 • Pastor Tim Byer

The empty tomb gave way and fueled the empty room. Previously, the room was empty, stale, and full of fear . .. But The Resurrection changes everything. His resurrection changes our citizenship and our call. We walk victorious while simultaneously submitting ourselves to our neighbor. We gladly lose because we have already won.

FAITH Worship (3/24/24): "The Empty Tomb" (Series: Miracles)

March 24, 2024 • Pastor Tim Byer • John 20:1–10

Who says we have to save the "resurrection sermon" for Easter? Every Sunday is Easter. Every day we live in the wonder, beauty, and power of the resurrection of Jesus. If the resurrection didn't happen, run far away from Him ... He is crazy. If the resurrection did occur as He said it would run to and with Him... He is LORD!

FAITH Worship (3/17/24): "The Bleeding Woman" (Series: Miracles)

March 17, 2024 • Pastor Jeff Higgins • Mark 5:25–34

We all have parts of our story that we wish weren't there. Pain, brokenness, shame, heartbreak. But God knows where we are and what we need. Join us this week as we look at Jesus' miraculous healing of a woman with an issue of blood and discover how Jesus can bring healing to every part of us.

FAITH Worship (3/10/24): "The Annointing by Mary" (Series: Miracles)

March 10, 2024 • Pastor Tim Byer • John 12:1–8

Today rather than diving into a miracle that Jesus performs, we dive into a miracle from Jesus that He watches us perform. Like Mary, with her big jar of perfume, we have a miraculous opportunity ... to worship Him. He has shown up today and we have a divine opportunity to respond.

FAITH Worship (3/3/24): "The Grave Clothes" (Series: Miracles)

March 3, 2024 • Pastor Tim Byer • John 11:1–44

The resurrection of Lazurus is such a rich and full story that it could take hours to unpack. By focusing on the very last moments of the event, we tend to wrongly picture Lazarus walking out fresh and excited from the grave with a stretch and a smile. But ... he couldn't. He was bound tightly. He hopped out, dead to alive, but needed the help of others to remove the stink of the "grave clothes". So do we.

FAITH Worship (2/25/24): "The Dinner and The Show" (Series: Miracles)

February 25, 2024 • Pastor Tim Byer • John 6:1–15

Jesus fed the 5000 and then walked on water. That was cool, but that's not all. Jesus exposed the crowd's motives who were just there for dinner and a show. They may have communed with the disciples, but the disciples were there not for the ancillary things of Jesus. The disciples were there for Jesus only. Crowds leave when they are confused. Disciples believe when they are confused.

FAITH Worship (2/18/24): "The Man Born Blind" (Series: Miracles)

February 18, 2024 • Rev. Tom Stolle, BCM/D Dir. • John 9:1–12

Before Jesus healed the man who was born blind, there was a pointed conversation. People wanted to know who was "at fault" for his infirmity. Jesus met their questions by deflecting their attention to God's transcendent plans, not our limited focus. He then healed the man. While we know God can always heal, what do we do when He doesn't? How do our faith and theology intersect when God says "no" or "not yet"?

FAITH Worship (2/11/24): "The Friends and The Roof" (Series: Miracles)

February 11, 2024 • Pastor Tim Byer • Mark 2:1–12

Four friends cut a hole in a roof for their friend. Many of us are so familiar with this story that we don't see the beauty in it. The beauty is found in the desperation and actions of the 4 friends. Their faith was noticeable. Therefore, their friend was forgiven and healed. This should inspire all of us to have such friends and be such a friend.

FAITH Worship (2/1/24): "The Water and The Wine" (Series: Miracles)

February 4, 2024 • Pastor Tim Byer • John 2:1–12

John calls this miracle the "first sign". Reading the story, Jesus seemed a bit distracted. If that is true, what thought might have been distracting Him? What "hour that hadn't yet come", was He referring to? This first sign is deeper than we could ever imagine.
