Class Description: Is local church membership commanded? Is it even in the New Testament? Is it necessary? Is it helpful? What is the point? Where did it come from? Are there downsides? What will it cost me?

There are many questions and misconceptions about local church membership. This course will seek to clarify Scripture’s teaching on local church membership, including its origin, purpose, function, and goals. Further, the course will examine what it means to be a healthy, contributing member of a local church.
