Psalm 88 provides a glimpse into the lowest points of faith. We can pray with this Psalm to give voice to our struggles with the brokenness we encounter in our walk, especially when our search for healing seems to go unanswered.
The Psalms of Ascent (120-134) show us the nature of worship to Jehovah - primarily that it is responsive in nature, and not done to “appease a god” as was normal in ancient times. Included is the reading of multiple Psalms from this collections.

All through the summer, we have seen the Psalms give voice to faith in diverse situations. This morning, we shout triumphantly with a Psalm that recounts God’s acts of deliverance.
