Many people feel that they don’t have enough money in their lives to be able to tithe or donate to God. I’d like to help you practically trust God in this area by looking at three examples (from the Bible) of people like you and me. These people excelled in generosity, even when it was difficult! We will learn that generosity expresses faith in God’s power to resupply our needs. In fact, we can test God in order to trust God. Our generosity exposes the condition of our hearts. God is worthy of our best. We will discover that in God’s eyes, a generosity heart is more significant than the amount given. To God it’s all relevant. He sees the heart, not the amount!
Financial Freedom
January 27, 2017 • Bill Young
As we Continuing our Win Build Send series we get to look at one of the most important topics taught in the Bible: Financial stewardship. It is not unimportant that Jesus taught more about money than any other topic. If we are going to succeed in life, we must understand the Biblical principles regarding wealth. At The Rock we don’t run from this material, instead we teach practical Biblical principles on money. We agree with Andy Stanley who said, “Biblical teaching about money should focus on what we can do for you rather than what we can get from you.” Today we will discover five foundations for true financial freedom.

This practical teaching will help you understand and implement the basic Biblical concepts of honoring God with your finances.

Each January, the President of the United States gives a State of The Union Address to the nation. In it, he tries to paint a picture of a preferred future for the American people. He does this by taking a look back at the year, highlighting some good things and looking ahead to a hopefully bright future. In this message - Part Two of our Win Build Send 2017 Series - we will look at three keys to setting a course for success as a church: the past, the present and the future. This will help us get our spiritual bearings and prepare for the amazing year God has planned for us.
