Did You Know? Not only do we get to be a part of recognizing our stellar Warriors each month, but we are now getting our Warriors in on the recognition. This month, our Skillbridge Warrior presented our part of the recognition, alongside representatives from several other Community and Base partners.
Barksdale's Diamond Sharp Award is given each month to one Airman, selected through a rigorous process including their leadership, the First Sergeants council, etc. From here on out, we're looking forward to empowering Warriors connected to our cause to be a part of recognizing their fellow Warriors.

Can't we all just get along? What a novel idea?!?! Society today is literally at each other's throats. Polarized by everything from politics to pandemics and religion to rights, we oftentimes find ourselves surrounded by people whom we see as enemies rather than allies. This #EW365 series will look at several of the voices that make up society today and how each voice can actually have a positive impact rather than the expected negative impact. The thoughts of this series may not change the world overnight, but they very well can begin to change the world around you, then, who knows...maybe we can create a society in which we can all just get along. Sometimes when you know, you know. We knew as the requests came from our currently serving military family that they were truly frightened of the transition process. We knew that the Skillbridge applicant was overwhelmed with the process to take advantage of a truly awesome opportunity. We knew that we needed to help BUT we knew we were not the experts on how to help. We knew we needed to reach out for support from a team that cared as deeply for our warrior family as we did. And after conversations sharing our experiences (both good and bad) with the dreaded but inevitable transition to the civilian sector - WE KNEW that HIREMILITARY was the partnership we needed in order to equip our Warriors for the next stage of their career. With that, we want to thank Olivia, Jason, Matt, Shannon and Michael and the whole team at HIREMILITARY for making this official partnership announcement possible. We look forward to seeing you continue to serve our warriors with official Digital Networking Professional certification, with leading warriors through the SkillBridge application process, helping through employment services you provide and helping veterans, transitioning military, and military spouses find meaningful careers!
