A Long Obedience

Philippians 2:12-18

This week, we continue chapter 2 and see Paul build on the beginning of the chapter we studied last week. Paul calls the church at Philippi to continue to obey. He calls them to work diligently to obey the gospel in each facet of their lives. It causes us to ask if there is consistent obedience to the gospel in each area of our lives.

Because of our heavenly citizenship that is to come, it should cause us to be of one mind, rejoicing in all circumstances, and not worried about anything.

He reminds them of the truth they know and encourages them to remember this foundational truth as they look to find ultimate joy and advance the gospel.
