Seasons | Praying in a Minor Key | Engage Online
May 16, 2021 • Pastor Brent Garrard
Welcome to Engage Church! Wherever you’re joining us from, thanks for tuning in. Today’s sermon, “Praying in a Minor Key” is brought to us by one of our friends, Pastor Brent Garrard from InFocus Church in Augusta, GA. Pastor Brent reminds us that pain is an inevitable and unavoidable part of life. Experiencing seasons of pain is out of our control, but what we can control is how we process and address that pain. The key to filling the gap between the pain of live and the presence and promise of God is learning to biblically lament. In our lament is where God reminds us of the cross and the promise we find in Revelation 21:4. "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." We hope you enjoy today's sermon. Be sure to sign up for our ASSIST INTENSIVE all on this idea of seasons.
