Palm Sunday | Misinterpreting Jesus | Engage Midtown

March 28, 2021 • Pastor Adrian Crawford

Welcome to Engage Church! Wherever you’re joining us from, thanks for tuning in. Today’s sermon, “Misinterpreting Jesus” is brought to us by our Lead Pastor, Adrian Crawford. On this Palm Sunday, we reflect on the scriptures in John 12, when Jesus makes his entrance into Jerusalem. Jesus came in a way that no one expected because the people of Jerusalem expected their King to come with power and a title, but instead, he rode in on a donkey. We have to remind ourself that the power we crave, will be the power we save. We must allow God to redefine what power, position, and purpose means to us if we want to truly see a world that changes for the Kingdom. We hope you enjoy today's sermon. As always Engage Fam, WE ALL WE GOT! Cancel Me | Pastor Adrian Crawford | Engage Midtown

March 14, 2021 • Pastor Adrian Crawford

Welcome to Engage Church! Wherever you’re joining us from, thanks for tuning in. Today’s sermon, “Cancel Me” is brought to us by our lead Pastor, Adrian Crawford. In the Bible, we see Paul wanting people to cancel Him. He desired to live SO separate from the culture, that His lifestyle was only recognizable to a life led by Jesus. His worship, ethics, and sacrifice were focused on the Kingdom, not the thoughts and opinions of others. We can disagree with the ethics of others, while still loving them. We can stand up for injustice, without canceling a whole group of people. Do you live by the ethics of the Kingdom, or the ethics of your opinions? We hope you enjoy today's sermon. You Are That Man | Pastor Adrian Crawford | Engage Midtown

March 7, 2021 • Pastor Adrian Crawford

Welcome to Engage Church Online. Wherever you're joining us from, thanks for tuning in. Today's message is brought by our Pastor, Adrian Crawford. In our culture today, we find ourselves polarized towards to extremes. On one hand, we're so quick to point out the sin in others, often leading to hypocrisy. On the other hand, sometimes we offer grace too quickly, without explaining how conviction and repentance leads us closer to the Father. As Innovative Reconcilers, we are called to model conviction, conversion, and compensation; speaking Truth in love to those that need to be met by the Savior. We hope you enjoy today's sermon.
