This class is open to anybody 18+ Class Description: If you or someone you know has encountered trauma (we probably all have to a certain extent), this class is for you/them. Do Something, INC is excited to host the next session of this class that will address the effects of trauma and how it impacts our mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. ReWoven: Restoring God’s Ultimate Design is not another Bible study or support group. It is designed to address the spiritual components of trauma and release freedom and true healing to many areas, where traditional modalities fall short. Our intent is not to negate the need for counseling, drug therapies when appropriate, diet and health changes or support groups. Those practices can play a key component in your healing journey. But for many of us, we have been there and done that. You know there’s more. You know there’s true freedom. You want more than just slapping a religious bumper sticker on your pain and wearing the masks of perfection, perception and performance. ReWoven is designed to move you from the question, “What is wrong with you?” to the question, “What Happened to You?”. Healing the body, soul, and spirit from the effects of trauma. Simply modifying behavior is not healing. Medicating is not healing and educating is not healing. True healing takes place when our BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT have all experienced freedom. We will cover these three key areas repeatedly throughout this course. In the course of the 8 weeks of classes, there are intentional times of pausing and seeking to hear the Lord's direction on matters of our hearts. This can involve times of repentance and reflection as well as the laying on of hands for personal ministry. This ministry is always optional. Only those trained as facilitators will be ministering. Class times are broken into sections of teaching, discussion, and application and ministry.
