Foster Care Ministry at Encounter Church exists to break the cycle of social, material, and spiritual poverty of children in crisis as a tangible expression of God's love. The vision of Foster Care Ministry is for every underserved child in crisis in the Seattle area to grow up in a safe, secure, and Christ-centered home.

At Encounter Church our mission is to help reconcile people to God and one another.

Homelessness

We believe that every human being is created in the image of God and is deserving of dignity and respect. By fighting homelessness, we are working towards a more just and equitable society and affirming the inherent value and worth of every individual. Seattle's Union Gospel Mission vision is to see every homeless neighbor beloved, redeemed, restored.
