Encourage One Another

In the Bible we meet Jesus in a man named Barnabas. He was the greatest encourager around and do you know what set him apart from everyone else? He turned outward not inward. When he had chances to shrink back, use his wealth on himself or a chance to celebrate his own success he turned outward and sought to bless everyone around him. We rarely see his name but he influenced the majority of the New Testament. Let's turn outward not inward!

Admonish One Another

The word "admonish" is not often used. It's an important command, something all Christians are called to. We're called to correct and warn other believers when they are flirting with sin. They are called to do the same for us. Admonishing is an act of love! This Sunday we'll take to heart the teachings of Jesus as we are instructed to admonish: privately, positively, and prayerfully.

Stir Up One Another

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Bear One Another's Burdens

In Galatians 6 encourages us to be "burden bearers". We're to help people get back up on their feet (spiritually) and back to the way of Christ. We do this gently and humbly just as Jesus perfectly did so for us.
