Lust can lead our desires away from God. Not only is lust towards another person, but it can be anything that draws our desires to the world; like seeking approval from others, or striving in unhealthy ways. Jesus restores us when we surrender to him. Don't keep a lustful heart towards the world, but turn all of that energy towards Jesus instead.
