Message: Fundamentals - Part 13 Confrontation Speaker: Aaron Peterson 05/15/2022 Sunday Service: 9:00 am Covenant relationships are something that the modern Christian often fails to understand. To be in covenant is a different type of submittedness and vulnerability than most are used to. It challenges our own ideas about independence and self sufficiency and beckons us into deeper community. It also demands difficult conversations. Cleaning up your mess is a fundamental of growing in the Kingdom. This Sunday- Pastor Aaron invites us into a deeper understanding of covenant confrontation. The LORD brought about a great victory that day. Eleazar’s name literally means ‘WHOM GOD HELPS’ · His lineage is a family of WARRIORS...Fighters for God · He was WELL-VERSED, WELL-SKILLED in the combat arts—SPIRITUALLY TRAINED---- · In short—ELEAZAR WAS A JEDI!!! · Eleazar TAUNTED his enemy because he had confidence in His King and His sword · HIS HAND FROZE TO THE SWORD!!!! o Two things happened here: § The blood was so thick from the carnage that it dried around his hand where it became enmeshed § The grip was so tight his sword couldn’t be removed from him...... ELEAZAR—STOOD HIS GROUND AND SWANG THAT SWORD AND WRECKED HAVOC!!! · He studied – practiced with that sword · Knew every inch of the blade · Sharpened it---worked with it... · It was already an extension of him BEFORE THE BATTLE BEGAN.... ELEAZAR’S VICTORY was decisive---OTHER’S Picked up the spoils.... ELEAZAR WAS WEARY.... but God gave him the victory....... THE BIBLE says that THE WORD OF GOD is a WEAPON......A SWORD...... YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR SWORD!!!!—use http://it....but GOD WILL GIVE YOU VICTORY.... MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE... TREAT your Bible the same way as ELEAZAR treated HIS SWORD.... Jeremiah 1:12(AMP) Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.
