The Cross is one of the most mysterious and misunderstood pieces of the Christian faith. Not because of its obscurity, but because it’s nearly impossible for us to overestimate the significance of a God who dies for His creation. Many traditions even hold that the Cross is the starting point of all of creation!

A clear picture of God begins with a clear understanding of the Cross. Intimacy with God is either bolstered or reduced in our lens. It is THAT important.

Join Pastor Aaron for a deep dive into the significance of what Christ accomplished, and what He DID NOT experience on that tree 2000 years ago.

We are thrilled to host Marty and Jaime Vallotton Pronovost this weekend! On Saturday night April 13 at 6:30 pm, Marty and Jaime will share their experience, strength and hope - overcoming real marital and mental health challenges that we know will bless and encourage and strengthen you and your relationships! Children’s ministry will not be available for this particular session, but it will be televised online! Then on Sunday morning, April 14th at 10:00 am Marty will also preach another distinct message at Elevation Church. Both services are inside the GBCC chapel, in our normal Sunday meeting space. Marty and Jaime are the lead pastors of Shiloh Church and the Bethel School of Discipleship in California. Marty also serves on the Elevation Church Board of Overseers, providing wisdom and guidance for Pastor Ryan and our EC team since 2016. Through her own journey as a wife married to an NFL athlete, she slowly shriveled into an empty shell of outward beauty. From the outside looking in, others saw fame, fortune, a model family and a trophy wife who seemed to have it altogether until it all came crashing down for the world to see. As God helped her pick up the pieces of a broken marriage, single motherhood to her 8 children, and gain strength to remarry and start all over, she shares her story of God’s faithfulness, power and redemption. Through her authorship, mentoring and coaching, Eileen is showing women who feel sidelined by life’s circumstances how to live in FULLNESS of who God created her to be.
