Is Christ Lord?

June 25, 2023 • Jeremy Jenkins

Jeremy rounds out our Eyewitness series with a message on the importance of knowing Christ as Lord. We find in John 14 that Jesus declares that our relationship with Him is not nominal but rests on the love given to us. The push and pull of faith produces an effect that is evident in our day to day. When we love our creator we abide in him, which is evident to those around us. Our greatest witness is the effect that God’s love has on our will.

How did you come to Jesus?

Refreshing Revelation

May 21, 2023 • Neil Perry • Revelation 3

This week Neil continues the eyewitness series with the study of the letter to the church of Laodicea found in Revelation. In this letter, we see that God desires our faith to provide others with the same peace and comfort that we receive from Him. We are to be an extension of Him when we become a part of His body and therefore His witness to the world so our faith must not be lukewarm. Our faith should be so that when others are going through valleys, our presence gives them hope of the good to come.

Walking in Freedom

May 28, 2023 • JR Blanton

This in the Eyewitness series JR gives a message on the importance of deliverance. It isn’t enough to acknowledge our deliverance from our past we must walk in it. We find an Acts a great example of this when Peter addressed a crowd after delivering a man from lameness. In this instance Peter stood in his own deliverance and proclaimed the power of God for the glory of Jesus. Like Peter we must live through the power of God so that our lives are a witness to the glory of Jesus.

Water Into Wine

June 4, 2023 • Neil Perry

Neil carries us through this week of the Eyewitness series with what may be a revelation for many believers. In the book of John we see the revealing of Jesus to the world at the wedding in Cana at Galilee. He performs a sign that proclaims Him as as the Son of Man. Through many signs Jesus has given us the substance of faith. Our faith is not something that comes from us but from the power of revelation by the Holy Spirit through signs that are continuous until His return.

Wisdom from Gods Witness

June 11, 2023 • JR Blanton

This week in the Eyewitness series JR delivers a reminder from the Old Testament. We look at the story of Elijah against King Ahab. We see that even when the odds or realities appear to be against God’s vision is infinitely higher. When faced with circumstances beyond anything we can change we must face them and show them our God. God has no rivals and has no intentions of letting the world overcome when we are walking with Him.

A Road of Grace

June 18, 2023 • Josh Cribb • Luke 24

This week Josh gives a message that dives deeper into Jesus’ decisions on the road to Emmaus. We see that Jesus’ intentions are emphasized by the circumstances of the account. He was there for a purpose that fulfilled the will of His Father. He revealed himself exactly when He needed to so that the travelers could see who He really was. Thus, Jesus does not need a crowd or a platform. When He reveals himself to us we are an audience of one and in that moment we are His only focus.
