MUST WATCH! A Storm Comes Rolling Down the Plain

a documentary concerning abortion abolition

January 21, 2021

A Storm Comes Rolling Down the Plain: When the Kingdom of Christ Collides with the Culture of Death. Humbly, we are seeking the generous, gracious donations of church bodies and brothers and sisters in Christ for the purpose of producing a documentary on abolishing abortion. We have three main goals: (1) To introduce the church to the biblical doctrine of Abolitionism; (2) To tell the story of the Abolitionist Movement in Oklahoma; and, (3) To provoke the church to action, specifically towards gospel-centered involvement in the legislative process and interposition at the abortion mills. More broadly, we seek to tell the providential story of the church rising up to bring the gospel into conflict with the horrors of abortion in Oklahoma. We want to present the church of King Jesus as she proclaims the gospel as the ultimate antidote to abortion. We aim to prick the conscience of those who see worldly political strategies as sufficient in the fight against abortion. We seek to speak to these matters in grace-filled humility, while affirming a high view of the church, and pointing to a future bride who is beautiful and perfect. We will produce a feature-length documentary to be streamed and establish a fund that will assist with abolitionist efforts, managed by sister churches, not any third party political organization.
