In story after story in the Bible, people come to Jesus, ask for mercy, and are able to go away healthy, free, and saved. Now it's our turn! God is compassionate and gracious--and so should we!
We tend to think of God in terms of categories and philosophy. When God shares His name, He talks about what we would call character. He is compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness… Yahweh
We have a God who intentionally brings worth and value to those deemed invisible and insignificant. We have a God who not only sees us, but a God who desires to meet us in our pain and who desires for us to know his truth.
