EXERCISE MSEL (TASK LIST)

This page contains the Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) for the exercise. Documents will be uploaded the morning of the exercise. Instructions:
Please do not begin the exercise until 09:00
Your task(s):
1. Watch the Initial Exercise Briefing at 0900:
2. You should receive an Excel workbook via your registered email. This MSEL has all lanes of play at the bottom (sheets). Pick the most appropriate discipline you are representing. If you would like PDF individual versions or did not receive it in your email by 0900, you can download all documents here:

3. Work at your own pace and complete the MSEL tasks. There is no 1st place. The goal of this exercise is to learn and test equipment and practices ahead of the 2023 Hurricane season.
4. When you complete all tasks in your MSEL lane, you are welcome to work through other lanes if you desire. If not, please submit your hardcopy or digital MSEL and ICS214 to the email listed at the bottom of your MSEL.
5. Complete the after Ex hotwash form located at the link on the bottom of your MSEL. Please be honest about strengths, gaps and lessons learned. This form will drive how we change the exercise next time and focus areas.
Items to know:
-Please monitor your email. You may be assigned additional tasks
-If you have ITSL personnel, please assign them to work the ITSL lane in the MSEL in conjunction with you
Ensure all radio and form traffic starts and ends with this is an exercise
-If you are using the Excel MSEL form, just click in the task box for links to webpages or emails. This will automatically bring up your email or browser. If you do not wish to use the Excel doc, we recommend downloading the PDF version in the Exercise Documents Section on webpage.
