Discipleship is never in a vacuum, but is meant to be lived in community. When we fellowship with other believers, we are encouraged. When we share our faith with our families, neighbors and friends, we offer reconciliation to others. When we minister, we show our world that we love through serving. Discipleship involves intentionally inviting others to accompany us on our journey. We elevate our discipleship when we fellowship with believers, witness to the world and minister to others.

Discipleship happens when God does what He has to do and we do what we need to do. Spending time with God, understanding His Word and praying in faith are keys to passionately become more like Jesus.

Being “in Christ” means that we have been transformed and are living a new life apart from old ways and habits. Christ died for us to have this transformation. Old passes away, new comes. We are identified with Christ, and are leaving one set of priorities behind and are fully embracing the new life in Christ.
