God created marriage to be between a man (Adam) and a woman (Eve). It also serves as our living example of the relationship between Christ and the church, His living body of believers on the earth. Without understanding God’s purpose for marriage, we are destined to misuse and abuse it. Marriage must be defined by the Word of God.
