In the seventh episode of "Divine Guidance," Duane Sheriff teaches about discerning God's voice through multiple witnesses. God provides several ways to confirm that you are hearing Him correctly. These witnesses include the Word of God, the love of God, and the peace of God.

Duane emphasizes the importance of the Word of God as a witness. As stated in Romans 8:14, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God." By immersing ourselves in Scripture, we learn to recognize God's voice more clearly. The Bible sharpens our ability to discern His guidance.

The love of God is another witness. Romans 13:10 reveals, "Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law." When God speaks, His direction will always align with His nature of love. Anything that contradicts love is not from God.

Thirdly, the peace of God is a vital witness for divine guidance. In Colossians 3:15, we are encouraged to "let the peace of God rule in your hearts." A lack of peace indicates that a specific decision is not from God. Peace acts as an umpire, signifying divine approval or disapproval.

Understanding these witnesses will help believers walk confidently in God's will. Stay rooted in the Word, dwell in God's love, and seek His peace as confirming signs of His voice. We will effectively discern and follow divine guidance by learning to recognize these witnesses.

Decisions made independently of God's will lead to forms of death, depression, and discouragement.

Romans 8:14 states, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." It is crucial to discern and follow the inner voice of the Holy Spirit. God doesn't just lead us by external circumstances but primarily speaks to us from within. The guidance of the Holy Spirit is like a GPS system, urging us to heed the corrections and directions given by God. Even when we make mistakes or stray from God's path, the Holy Spirit guides us back in the right direction. The Holy Spirit, God's divine guidance system, is indwelling within you. He never leaves or forsakes you and is always speaking through the inner witness. Even when we dismiss or override His guidance, He prompts us to repent and recalculates our route to guide us back to His will.

Divine Guidance | Episode 3 | God Speaks

In the third episode of "Divine Guidance," Duane Sheriff teaches how to hear God's voice. Mark chapter 4 highlights the importance of choosing to hear God's voice and how it can lead us to wise decisions that bring healing and prosperity into our lives. Romans 8:14: "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God." If you are born again, it is your birthright to be led by the Lord. Even though God constantly speaks and leads, it is not automatic and requires faith. Duane references biblical examples to illustrate that God has always talked to His people, from Adam and Eve to Enoch, Noah, and beyond. Discern God's voice and heed His guidance in every aspect of life – for your occupation, relationships, or personal decisions. Sin does not stop God's voice. Instead, He calls us to repentance and closer fellowship. God's guidance is always available; we must learn to recognize and respond to it.
