Man: A Triune Being | Part 2

Part 2

May 9, 2002 • Duane Sheriff

This series examines and compares triune man and triune God. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24 is the featured text but look specifically at verse 23, “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” So we see the trinity of man is spirit, soul, and body while the trinity of God is Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Our culture is fixated on the body or the physical part of man, often neglecting the soul or mind and, more importantly, the spirit man. This series will bring balance and emphasis to the spirit man.
