Christians, praising the Lord is not optional; it is a commandment! Psalm 47:6 admonishes us four times in one verse, to praise God. “Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.” The lowest form of praise is out of simple obedience. But praise should go to even higher levels in our walk with the Lord. The mark of a New Testament believer should be the praise in our hearts for a good God, worthy of praise and honor. Good things happen when we praise Him.
