The "Sent One" Prayer

Father, I thank you that I am Your “sent one”.

I acknowledge (or realize) that every member of the Body of Christ is a minister, and every minister has a ministry. Therefore, I go today in the name of and as a representative of King Jesus.

Today, I look for opportunities “as I go” to be Your hands, Your feet and Your mouthpiece.

I remember that I am not alone, but You, the Almighty One are in me and with me. I am empowered by Your Spirit to do the work You have called me to do.

It is not by my strength but by Yours.

I have ears to hear Your voice and I am listening. I will hear your voice on where to go, who to talk to and what to do. I realize that “obedience to King Jesus is success no matter the apparent outcome”. I will (do my best to) by faith, act upon your instruction.

I pray today that I would be a “Divine Encounter” for someone, somewhere. All the while, walking in love and humility, seeing others as You see them.

I pray that I will also be a “sent one” to my home, my sphere of influence—to my family and friends and coworkers. Show me how to minister to people who are close.

Break my heart for what break Yours.

Show me how I can be a bringer of the Good News, “The Gospel”.

Show me where and how to release Your Power and Your Peace. I declare today that “Your Love motivates Your Power…Your Power demonstrates Your Love, and the result is Your Peace.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done in the earth, through me!

That “The Son” may be glorified!

I remember what you have done for me—how You saved me, delivered me, healed me, kept me and blessed me.

And I remember who I am in You—who I’ve been made to be.

I AM YOUR “SENT ONE”!
