[Easter] Grave to Garden // When God Is In It -- It’s Not Over!

April 9, 2023 • Roy T. Barrett • John 20:1–18

Many times we prematurely abandon our dreams, our hopes and our prayers because all of the natural signs point to us not having the ability to control or change the situation. We conclude that it’s over because we feel helpless and hopeless. BUT, it’s critical that we know -- that no matter how bad things look, or how bad we may feel, it’s NEVER over until what God has promised becomes a reality in our lives.

Stay the Course

Our daily lives are experienced through various times and seasons. With them bringing both opportunities and opposition to our walk in God. Our God looking to build us up, while the enemy tries to break us down by what’s happening around us. SO… we must discipline ourselves to the kind of determination that help us thrive no matter who or what is falling, fainting or failing around us.

The Faith of A Father

June 16, 2024 • Roy T. Barrett • Luke 15:11–24

A common attribute used to define or describe a man is 'provider'. Usually focused on a financial context. But this is only a part of manhood & fatherhood, because providing starts with exercising faith. The word “provide” means to see beforehand. So, to be a great provider we must see past any present fears, feelings, frustrations & fatigues with a conviction what God placed in & promised us will come to pass.
