Jesus asked the disciples at Caesarea Philippi, "Who do you say that I am?" Peter immediately responded, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God." Peter's confession of Jesus' position resulted in Peter being entrusted with "the keys of the (mystery) kingdom, the Church Age.
