He Is Pro-Government ... Or Is He?

Jesus says we ought to be pro government, but way more pro God and His kingdom.

Mark closes his gospel in a peculiar but purposeful fashion to highlight Christ's death and leave us with an important question.

In recording the event of Jesus' crucifixion, Mark reveals most clearly the identity of Jesus as God's suffering servant and king.

The innocence of Jesus is made clear, while Barabbas is a picture of our guilt.
