In Psalm 122, “Jerusalem” was a people and not just a place; the church is not a building, but people.

In this final Psalm of Ascent, the psalmist gives us an example of call and response centered on the blessing of God.

The unity of the church is for beholding and for pursuing.

The Psalmist remembers God's promise and pleads for God's presence.
