Connie Zeno recently shared about Faith Building Confessions. Take a couple of minutes to read and hear the Lord speak to you to build up your persistent and tenacious FAITH!
10 Faith-Building Confessions based on the Word of God.
It is by grace, through faith, that I have been saved, and it is by faith that I continue to work out my salvation. God is faithful to work in me to do His will and to do His good pleasure
(Ephesians 8; Philippians 2: 12-13).
I have been crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me. The life which I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20).
I respond out of love to everyone I meet because faith works by love (Galatians 5:6).
I pray in tongues regularly, building myself up in my holy faith, because that is what God said for me to do (Jude 20-21).
I listen to the Word of God continually, because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
I believe even when it is hard to believe. I ask God for help, and He helps me even in my unbelief (Mark 9:24).
God lives in me, and He cannot disown Himself. Though at times I feel faithless, God is faithful to me (2 Timothy 2:13).
I will not fear, for God is with me. He will strengthen and help me.
In whatever I face, He will uphold me with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
In everything I do, I look to Jesus. I fix my eyes on Him, because He is the Author and Finisher of my faith (Hebrews 12:2).
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; therefore, I live by faith. I walk by faith and not by sight (Romans 1:7; 2 Corinthians 5:7).
Take these 10 Faith-Building Confessions and incorporate them into your day, declaring them and proclaiming them over your life. Then, as you continue to strengthen your faith, go to God's Word for more verses about faith and personalize them into even more confessions. Continue living by faith and developing the faith God has given you and watch the breakthroughs multiply.
