Genesis 1-3 and other Scriptures | Christmas Peace, Part 1 | 12/6/2020 | Pastor Matt Jones. As we enter the Christmas season, we celebrate Advent - the coming of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God made a world that was at peace. That peace was destroyed by the sin of our first parents, Adam and Eve. We in turn have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Therefore, we need the "rescue plan" of God the Father through God the Son, Jesus the Christ.
