Today we are considering the role of the local church in God's unfolding story. What is the point of the local church? Is there a point? Wrestling with these questions is, if you will, essential. The local church is God’s Plan A for the advancement of his purposes in the world and in our lives. If we want to participate in the fullness of his purposes, we must embrace his chosen vehicle for advancing them.
