If a king became a commoner you would think he'd be at a disadvantage. If God's son would become lower than the angel, then how would he accomplish his purposes? Nevertheless, it was the perfect plan to make Jesus our Champion and conquer sin and death. Finally, Jesus suffered so much on our behalf and is able to aid us in our suffering.
