July 9, 2023 • Steve Hinton • John 10:10, 1 Timothy 4:7–8, Psalm 50:10–12, Matthew 6:19–24, Malachi 3:8–10

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

1 Timothy 4:7-8 Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; 8 for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

Matthew 6:19-21, 24 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust[a] destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. . . 24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
