November 13, 2022 • Steve Hinton • Colossians 4:5–6, Matthew 5:13, 1 Peter 3:15, Luke 19:10, 2 Corinthians 5:19–20

Colossians 4:5-6 . . . Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. 6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person

God’s Heart is for those Outside and He’s Called us to Reach Out to Them!

1. The Reality of People Being Outsider.

2. Calls for us to Engage in Outreach.

Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. (Ref 5:17)

3. Which will Create Opportunities.

1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect

 4. That Demands our Ownership.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

2 Cor 5:19-20a God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s Ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.

“We are committed to Fully loving God by Actively Following Jesus and Compassionately Seeking Others.”

Parable of the Loving Father – Luke 15 .
