Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.

Christ Connection: Instead of glorifying God, people chose to ignore God's plan and glorify themselves. This didn't stop God's plan to scatter the people and to form nations. Eventually one of these nations would become God's chosen people. Through the nation of Israel, Christ would come to save the world.

When we’re gentle, we’re showing that we care about someone or something. If we are gentle with how we talk to people, we’re telling them that we care about their feelings. If you are gentle with someone else’s property, you’re saying that you care about them. God loves everyone, and he wants us to treat people with gentleness.
