Pastor E. Marcel Jones, an effective communicator of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is known for his practical, dynamic, and thought-provoking teaching style. Pastor Eddie helps people understand how to apply the Word of God to their everyday life through his unique use of visual aides to convey his message in an easy to understand method.

He has served for the past 30 years at Cummings Street Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his service at CSMBC, Pastor Eddie is also an administrator with the Shelby County Schools System and a well-known speaker in the Memphis community. An established author, he has published numerous articles and a paperback entitled, The Naked Truth: The Gospel According to Singles. Pastor Eddie has a servant’s heart and delights in seeing people grow and flourish in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.

A native Memphian, Pastor Eddie studied at the University of Memphis from which he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Master of Arts in Teaching, and Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Policy. His greatest joy in life comes from his family, his wife Tressa and two children, Trevor and Erin.
