Jesus Christ is the Supreme Lord over all history Past, Present, and Future, and over All the Universe. All history is Defined by, Directed by, Dominated by, Centered in, and Consummated in Jesus.
2 - What Happens to a Believer at Death?

Immediately following death, believers enter into the intermediate state possessing conscious awareness, retaining their identity and individuality, knowing who they are and who they were on earth. There they will rest in the presence of the glorified Christ as they await the fulfillment of their ultimate hope - Jesus returning in glory, raising their physical bodies from death, and giving them a glorified body like His glorious body.

One of the most definitive 'signs of the end times' that will immediately proceed the return of Jesus is the revealing of the 'Antichrist', also called the 'Man of Lawlessness'. The sign of war will reach its ultimate expression at the end of days in a final battle that immediately precedes Christ's glorious and victorious return.
