The Heart Of Jesus

February 20, 2022 • Jake Scott • John 13

John 13 marks a shift in the way Jesus speaks and interacts with His disciples. His tone turns to pleading and takes a bold step to literally stoop down and wash the disciples feet. It's as if he is trying to get their attention. Once he has it, he tells them he has a "new commandment" for them. This "new" commandment sounds like an older familiar one, but the difference is both a significant challenge and invitation. Join us this Sunday, as Pastor Jake Scott kicks off our new sermon series "Encountering Jesus".
