How content or joyful or confident are you these days? This week, as we study Psalm 131, we’re going to discover the surprising truth that the way to more contentment and joy in life is not through upwards mobility, but often through downwards mobility. God isn’t calling us to American success, he is leading us toward childlike faith. The more we are willing to be led by God—wherever, whenever, however—the more contentment, joy and confidence we will find.
